Dr. Linda Yueh is a fellow in economics at Oxford University, a visiting professor at the London Business School, and an economics commentator appearing on broadcasters such as the BBC, Channel 4 News, CNBC, CNN & ITV News, among others. She directs the China Growth Centre (CGC) at Oxford University, is an associate of the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts (FRSA). Her work examines major economies such as Britain, China, United States, Europe as well as developing countries, and her research focuses on the global financial crisis, the drivers of economic growth and development, and the rise of emerging economies. She is a regular contributor to media coverage of economic and business issues, e.g., appearing fortnightly on BBC 1/World News "World Business Report" and as guest host on the international business news channel, CNBC. Previously, she was the ITV News Economics Commentator and had practised as an international corporate lawyer.
 
Dr. Yueh has published widely in academic journals, magazines, as well as several books. She is the Series Editor of the Economic Development and Growth book series for World Scientific Publishing. Her books include: Macroeconomics (co-authored with Graeme Chamberlin), Globalisation and Economic Growth in China (co-edited with Yang Yao), The Law and Economics of Globalisation: New Challenges for a World in Flux (editor), and The Future of Asian Trade and Growth (editor). The Economy of China is out in May. She has served as an advisor to the British government, Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Executive Briefing Advisory Board, among many others.
